We met with Caitlyn and Mike at Panera for our introduction meeting. This couple has been extremely straightforward in their search for a photographer and videographer from the beginning. From the sense of style, the questions they asked, and their taste in places for pictures - they knew what they wanted out of this experience. Likewise, it is our job to deliver upon these things and make each adventure of getting married different.
This was a two hour engagement session, which may seem like a lot to some, however I believe it to be perfect for all parties involved. It allots for breaks to sit and snack/drink, much laughter, and the ability to truly get to know our brides and grooms. For these two we got to find out more about their careers and how they got engaged.
Mike actually proposed to Caitlyn in New York City! He brought the ring on their trip, carried it with him, and waited to see when the moment felt right. He popped the question on their carriage ride. If you've never been on one in NYC they are underrated and probably one of the most romantic settings. Caleb and I went on our trip as well!
Caitlyn and Mike are getting married in March of next year. They chose us to be a part of a monumental day in their lives. Marriage. Working with couples like these are the reason we adore what we do and keeps the passion for it aflame. Can't wait to see these two walk up the aisle!
